Emprendedor U offers business classes for Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs.

MISSION

The Emprendedor U program brings business executives and entrepreneurs of Mexican origin together to provide opportunities for underserved, Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs to realize their goals of starting and growing their own businesses.

VISION

We believe that by helping small and medium sized businesses in our communities we are not only benefiting entrepreneurs to succeed in their business, we are also assisting in the creation of solid economic units that can create jobs, pay taxes and spark growth.

OUR APPROACH

This program has conducted various business seminars in which over five hundred individuals have received first-hand mentorship and invaluable insight from experts in their fields ranging from how to put together a business plan, to operations, marketing and bookkeeping.

Through the continued collaboration with other organizations that serve this demographic, we hope to continue to attract various renowned professionals who want to give back to the community by serving as teachers and mentors.

This next year we will continue to offer 4 five-week seminars (80 hours of instruction) to the growing population of Spanish speaking entrepreneurs along with specialized workshops and a Small Business Summit in Spanish and by doing so, Emprendedor U will reach a greater number of students.

Emprendedor U trainers and teaching staff bring first-hand insight and linguistically and culturally attuned expertise to build business skills and knowledge.

Peer-to-peer networking and a spirit of community and collaboration extend these transformative changes beyond the individual business to the broader community.
